As an Audio Designer on “Call of Duty: Black Ops 7”, I helped define new pipelines and help shape the overall feel of the games new modes and large-scale maps.
The main modes I worked on for this project were Co-op Campaign, Skirmish, Endgame, and Warzone 2.0. This included Positional Emitters, Reactive Emitters, Ambience, Localization Implementation, Bink Audio Implementation, UI Audio Implementation, Item interactions, Hitmarker Implementation, In-Game Activity Audio, Footstep Audio Implementation, Foliage Audio Implementation, VFX Audio Implementation, Authoring sounds, and Mixing.
This project was a new step and direction from other Black Ops games, allowing us to create a new open world campaign, and area that carried the story forward after the main story was over. This kept players invested in following seasons as we re-shaped and brought over ideas and map areas over to the Warzone and Multiplayer modes.
